OBD programming
We plug our KESS V3 into your car’s diagnostic socket (OBD-II port), usually under the dashboard near the steering column. No need to remove the ECU or open the engine bay.
We read the existing ECU software through the port, prepare a custom map on our equipment, then write the new calibration back through the same connection. The car stays in one place and the process is non-invasive. Most modern cars and vans support OBD read/write for the engine ECU, so we use this method whenever the vehicle allows it.
- Plug-in via OBD-II port (under the dashboard)
- Read and write ECU software without removing the unit
- Faster and simpler when the vehicle supports it
- Wide coverage for cars, vans, and light commercial
When OBD access is blocked, restricted, or the ECU needs direct connection, we use bench programming instead.
